Lauren Chava Rose (LOR-ren HA-va ROAZ) is a licensed clinical social worker with over a decade of experience providing trauma-informed therapy and consultation. Lauren specializes in grief and loss, chronic pain and illness, and all forms of relational trauma including complicated family dynamics. Additionally, Lauren is dedicated to providing inclusive, accessible treatment and she believes that therapy must address the impact of structural inequality on each person. In addition to her clinical work, Lauren developed and taught a course for second-year clinical students at the University of Chicago entitled Practicing with Integrity in Trauma-Informed Care. Lauren has a bachelor’s degree in history from The University of Michigan and a master’s degree in social work from The University of Chicago.
